Are you planning a winter wedding? Add a personal touch to it by adding these super delicious “winter” foods that will make your wedding guests feel cozy and festive:
Hot chocolate
Is there a better way to warm your wedding guests’ hearts than a cup of hot chocolate? Of course, there should be traditional hot chocolate extras offered as well: marshmallows, whipped cream, and mint stir sticks. If you want to further spice things up, you can offer alcoholic add-ons like vodka, rum, and Baylies and your guests will appreciate it!
Open a soup bar
One of the best ways to add some warmth to your winter wedding menu is a list of hot seasonal soups. These may vary according to your specific wedding theme but the timeless ones like chicken soup, minestrone, and pumpkin and ginger soup are always welcome at any winter wedding!
Classic comfort foods
Mac & Cheese, mashed potatoes, pizza, pumpkin pies, muffins, roasted chicken, peanut butter sandwiches, spaghetti, chicken pie, and French fries should be your best choices when it comes to comfort food for your winter wedding. You certainly don’t have to include them all to add this warm food touch to your most special day!
A chocolate dessert (of course)
Your winter wedding dessert should complement your whole menu and there’s no better choice than chocolate for that, don’t you think? Your options are endless but we recommend chocolate pudding, soufflé or muffins if you want to stick to the classics.
